Cares Expo Taipei: Empowering aging through growing Asia elder care market

Amidst the surging landscape in Asia elder care market, Cares Expo Taipei emerges as a focal point, showcasing cutting-edge innovations and fostering collaboration within the burgeoning Asian care industry.

The global market for elderly care services is poised for significant growth, projected to reach an estimated value of US$2.7 trillion by 2030, with a growth rate of 8.6%. In the Asia-Pacific region, the elderly care market is expected to surge from US$832.8 billion in 2021 to US$1268.43 billion in 2029.

Elder care encompasses assisted living, long-term care, short-term care, adult day care, and home care, catering to the physical and mental support needs of aging individuals. China is anticipated to dominate the Asia-Pacific elderly care market due to its significant senior population increase. However, challenges such as the high cost of elderly care services persist, hindering access to both short-term and long-term care options, including institutional care, homecare, and adult day care. Despite challenges, the eldercare services market is booming globally, driven by the aging society and emerging markets in the ASEAN region.

Cares Expo Taipei serves as the central hub of the Asian care industry, leveraging the region's strong manufacturing capabilities and the burgeoning market demand in Asia. It embodies the expanding silver economy, showcasing the rapid growth and innovation in eldercare solutions within the Asian market.
