This international webinar invites stakeholders across the healthcare ecosystem to explore how innovative medical devices can successfully enter global markets.

The “Reimbursement & Regulation of Innovative Medical Devices” webinar, scheduled for June 25, 2025, will provide a deep dive into the latest trends shaping access strategies for advanced therapy medicinal products (ATMPs), Bio-ICT applications, and next-generation medical technologies. This session is the first in a series of global online exchanges designed to help Taiwan’s medical device sector engage with international best practices and align with regulatory advancements.

This event is guided by the Department of Industrial Technology, Ministry of Economic Affairs (Taiwan) and organized by the Science & Technology Law Institute, Institute for Information Industry, with Anke Media Corp. as the executive organizer.

This English-language webinar will be livestreamed via YouTube.

Participation is free of charge, and all professionals, scholars, government agencies, and the general public with an interest in advanced medical devices are welcome to attend.

His work includes successful applications for new Medicare payments, the creation of CPT and HCPCS codes, and active engagement with CMS and physician societies.

Professor Anna Chen

Department of Biomedical Engineering, National Cheng Kung University (Taiwan)

A leader in medical device innovation and regulation, Professor Chen is recognised for her contributions to translational research and international talent development. As a Stanford Biodesign Global Faculty Fellow, she has introduced need-driven innovation models into Taiwan’s academia and clinical settings, helping build future-ready medtech innovators.
