Smart Hospital Total Solution enhances efficiency and patient Care

Updated: Jun 8

The Chinese Association for the Development and Care of Long-Term Humanistic Care has launched the “Smart Hospital Total Solution,” a comprehensive system designed to enhance the efficiency and quality of healthcare services. This innovative solution leverages advanced data processing, edge computing, and IoT technologies to provide smart management and call services for healthcare organizations. The aim is to significantly improve the standards and efficiency of healthcare services, ensuring better patient care and streamlined operations within medical institutions.

The Smart Hospital Total Solution allows for smart centralized management of nursing stations, wards, and individual beds through a robust system of data processing and smart computing capabilities. The system's platform enables the management center to oversee patient safety and ward management across different floors. Staff members can access a dashboard that provides an overview of wards, patient statuses, and other relevant details, facilitating comprehensive and instantaneous healthcare services.

Features and Benefits of the System

One of the key features of the Smart Hospital Total Solution is its smart ward call function. This function allows the nursing station to view and manage records from the wards, including alarm calls, access control updates, patient information, and call logs. The system integrates with other monitoring devices in the hospital through APIs, enabling the quick sharing and exchange of patient information. This data can be displayed on linked LCD monitors, creating a smart and efficient work environment for healthcare professionals.

Patients in the wards can make calls through a bedside button, with different colors of LED indicating the call status: red for incoming calls, green for calls being handled by nursing staff, and blue for doctor calls. The signaling device at the ward entrance also displays call status, ward number, and bed number, helping staff members quickly identify and respond to calls. The system prioritizes calls based on their emergency tier, ensuring that urgent needs are addressed promptly. The call status and data are displayed for on-duty nursing staff to analyze and manage efficiently.

Additionally, the system incorporates Microsoft Teams to support voice calls, allowing nursing staff to work and care for patients while on the move. The voice-to-text function further enhances efficiency by enabling staff to keep records through voice input, reducing the time spent on documentation.

The integration of ward entrance display devices with bedside terminals and nursing stations allows for dynamic queries of patient information, healthcare updates, and nursing statuses. Patients can access personalized information and request medical services through bedside displays and handheld devices.

In conclusion, the Smart Hospital Total Solution offers a robust response to various hospital scenarios, such as emergency calls, requests for additional caregivers, inspection calls, and doctor calls. By displaying call priority levels and integrating smart management capabilities, the system enhances the quality of care and creates a more humanized medical experience for patients.
