Childhood friends Matt Reiners and Jake Reisch have a lot in common: they were on the same Little League team, had lockers next to each other in high school, and have fathers who are professors at Cornell University.

In 2015, Matt, Jake, and Jake’s Cornell classmate Devin Jameson founded Eversound with a passion to improve the quality of life for at-risk seniors. Each of them shared a common experience with their aging loved ones; hearing loss and cognitive decline prevent older adults from living life to the fullest.

The trio walked into over 100 senior communities from Ithaca, NY to Buffalo, NY, learning all about the problems older adults face, deciding to dedicate themselves to building a technology company to change lives. Fast forwarding to today, Eversound is now helping tens of thousands of older adults in over 1000 communities have a better quality of life.
